It's not a poem, I just kept hitting enter for some reason

If I could start over at any time in history
I would be born

1935

there would be a lot of bad things,
like gender inequality, police brutality,
and oh god! the racism!

things I enjoy today, the technologies,
the comforts, the safety measures
not around

but there would be
hope

it wouldn't be too late, like it is today.
